Real Life Writing: Mao's Last Dancer

I love dance movies. My mom and four of my sisters are ballerinas, while my mind is the only part of me that leaps and soars. My latest find, is about a Chinese peasant boy, whose mind wasn't even allowed this privilege. Li Cunxin's true story of love, politics, art and athleticism is one you wouldn't believe if it wasn't true...

In a few hours I will be soaring over the Atlantic...thank goodness for a new book!

  2. What a coincidence - we watched the DVD of "Mao's Last Dancer" over the weekend and really enjoyed it. The dancing was superb.
